House Industries lower case letter g

I recently came across House Industries whilst researching on my last placement for some nice examples of type.

I saw this and instantly fell in love with it, and now i want to get it! Its a print that they are selling, and its a letter g made from negatives? I then spent half a day of trying to re create something similar, but believe me, its harder than it looks!

BP Portrait Awards 2011

I went to the BP Portrait Awards 2011 Exhibition on Saturday.

I stumbled upon the exhibition whilst looking for the tate, but ended up spending the rest of my day there!

It was held in the National Portrait Gallery which was also good.

Here where a few of my favorite pieces.

If you get the chance to go, I strongly recommend it!

Big Kids

Last night I went to a music video shoot for a new band coming out called Big Kids, with my friend Polly Mackey. 

I really enjoyed hanging about the shoot and meeting a fair few creative people. 

The choon they where filming for is certainly one to keep your eyes and ears pealed for! Gonna be a hit!
