I have recently designed a Year Planner and just come across this, which is using the same colours as mine!

I like this one more than my own, I like the use of huge and small type. Very nice for a wall!

Pride FC

Here are some really cool posters, made for the Pride Fighting Championships.

This was a brutal Japanese MMA promotion that allowed things such as head kicks and soccer kicks, and also had a 10 minuet 1st round!

The promotion is no longer, but a lot of its fighters have moved into the UFC still making amazing fights such as last weekends brutal 5 round fight with Shogun and Hendo!

These are really cool posters and I like that fact that not all of them use the fighters on them like the tacky ones you see in gyms!

House Industries lower case letter g

I recently came across House Industries whilst researching on my last placement for some nice examples of type.

I saw this and instantly fell in love with it, and now i want to get it! Its a print that they are selling, and its a letter g made from negatives? I then spent half a day of trying to re create something similar, but believe me, its harder than it looks!

BP Portrait Awards 2011

I went to the BP Portrait Awards 2011 Exhibition on Saturday.

I stumbled upon the exhibition whilst looking for the tate, but ended up spending the rest of my day there!

It was held in the National Portrait Gallery which was also good.

Here where a few of my favorite pieces.

If you get the chance to go, I strongly recommend it!

Big Kids

Last night I went to a music video shoot for a new band coming out called Big Kids, with my friend Polly Mackey. 

I really enjoyed hanging about the shoot and meeting a fair few creative people. 

The choon they where filming for is certainly one to keep your eyes and ears pealed for! Gonna be a hit!

Work Experience - 2

Work experience is still going strong!
Really enjoying it now and starting to get into a good routine, and pure loving London!
I have been working on some big named stuff and hopefully some of it will come to light.

I have also started tweeting lots as I have my blackberry and the internet everywhere, I have started taking photos and Hash tagging them as #randomthingsifoundinlondon

This morning I start work experience at Parker Williams Design.
Pretty excited as to what I will be getting on with throughout the day!
Through the week I will keep a log of what I am doing and how it is going.

They are business cards for YOQONA a studio based in Knutford. I am really impressed with their web site and their cards and I have emailed them for work experience!

Graduation

Here is an image of Stacey Williams, Rhian Williams, and I all together after graduating last Friday.
We have all been good friends since college, and 5 years after starting graphic design together in Wrexham, we finally finished uni at Cardiff School of Art and Design!
It was a great day, spent with some great people!
Now time to get me a job!
